Vitality Sub Neqzo LFT

Cross "World Championship" off the bucket list for Neqzo. The Renault Sport Team Vitality Substitute is now looking to move back into a starting role for the rest of 2019. In a tweet today, Neqzo thanked Vitality for allowing him to represent them for the past year and announced that he is looking to join or start a team.

The Frenchman was brought onto Vitality as part of the Gfinity Elite Series in 2018. He played all four matches during the season, in which Vitality finished 1-3 and finished in a tie for the bottom spot in the division with exceL. During the season, Neqzo led the team with 7 assists and added 8 goals on 32 shots. Neqzo recorded Vitality's only hat trick of the season in his very first match, against Reason Gaming.

Prior to the Elite Series, Neqzo had played a season in the Rival Series as part a Zebra Nose, which only won a single match. The team's 1-6 finish placed them last in the standings. With 54 saves during that season, he finished second in the league behind RLCS veteran Skyline. According to Octane's advanced statistics, Neqzo recorded the second-highest score-per-boost-per-minute total with 0.66, just 0.02 behind another player with RLCS experience in Tigreee.

With experience playing alongside Zensuz and putting up numbers very similar to Fairy Peak during his time in the Elite Series, it seems inevitable that Neqzo will land on his feet on a team that should expect to make it into the Rival Series.
